Debian Conference is the annual Debian developers meeting, an event filled with coding parties, discussions and workshops - all of them highly technical in nature. It will be held in New York City, USA, August 1-7, 2010.
Previous Debian Conferences have featured speakers from around the world. They have also been extremely beneficial for developing key Debian software components, including the new Debian Installer, and for improving Debian's internationalization.

FrOSCamp 2010 Zurich
FrOSCamp is a multilingual two-day event taking place on the premises of the ETH Zurich in September. It is completely free of charge and no preregistration for visitors is required. The event consists of an exhibition, talks, workshops and hackfests featuring free and open source software, free content, open standards, open systems and digital sustainability. People and projects are invited to demonstrate their work and to explain visitors said topics. The event is free of any commercial offerings (save swag, snacks and beverages) and is open to any visitor.
